“And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers”. (Act 2:42)

The Catholic Catechism teaches us: “God in His divine mercy never gets tired of drawing the man toward Himself and only in Him the man will find truth and happiness, which the man never ceases looking for”. (CIC, 27) We believe that our history is more or less like this...

Rafael de Angeli, at a Carnival Retreat, together with the Magnificat Community, Parish Nossa Senhora das Graças, Araraquara-SP - Brazil, in 1996, he met the group Efattha, which Robson Ferreira was a coordinator. Right there, Rafael felt that his work to the Lord would be evangelizing through the music. He came back to his Parish São João Batista, with some friends and started a religious musical group.

In 1997 the Group got its place in that Parish. They started playing at The Teen Mass, which drove many teens to the Parish.

On march, 1997, Jesus gave to the band a name “CANAL DA GRAÇA” (Grace´s Channel), calling each of them to became grace´s channel of Lord’s love and with it, they will receive an special mission.

Once more God crosses on the way in the São João Batista’s Parish. Rafael and Robson, in 2000, start to make history together in the band. Around one year after, with their spiritual growing and improving, the band became the “Grace´s Channel Music Ministry”.

The time was passing... Many people gave up the group for many different reasons. Some people came in but soon they left. However, new ones came in bringing with them a strong desire to serve the Lord. They came looking for happiness and truth which we will find only in Him.

Everything was happening in a simple manner, but ordered way, since God knows everyone of us, our limits and capacity. Little by little God has shaped them to His own image.

By many invitations to work all over the country that our Lord was trusting the mission of the ministry.

In 2001 God gives us His first instructions, simple love orders: a deeper communion, not only with Him but with all closest brothers, in an alliance of loyalty and allotment, everything in a common unity.

The Canal da Graça started its work admonishing other brothers, seeking a closer contact with others. Because since the beginning of the group God had demonstrated that it wouldn’t be a work for few but for many to take His Word to the end of the Earth. Some of them although, following the example of the rich young man, insiting in to live in the past, closing their hearts.

We had many prophecies that assured them God’s will. In 2001, one single prophecy deeply touched their hearts, about the Canal da Graça. Since them the group has headed for more audacious projects. The prophecy is 2 Ki 19:29: “And this [shall be] a sign unto thee, Ye shall eat this year such things as grow of themselves, and in the second year that which springeth of the same; and in the third year sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruits thereof”.

Still in 2001, many those who were in the ministry continued having serious problems in assuming responsibilities with the work that the Lord had entrusted them. Those ones, stayed behind. They chose not to follow the group. In the following year, new people and vocations with an intense desire in serve the Lord came in to be part of the Canal da Graça.

In April 2003, they had a vigil at the Blessed Sacrament in São João Batista Parish, asking the Lord to assure in their hearts His will once more. Those hours before the Lord was the foundation they needed, to become officially the Comunidade de Aliança Canal da Graça (Catholic Community of Alliance Grace´s Channel). Everyone present confirmed that they have the evangelization mission planted in their hearts.

After we makethe statute, based on charisma composed by "JOY, WORSHIP and MERCY", making rules for the community and its organization Reconcilie yourself with the Lord by His huge Mercy and find out the true divine Joy based on a deep experience with Holy Sacrament (to worhip Lord in happiness of His Mercy) - the charisma is the power that join and strengh all members in their way, moving away the power of this world that only want the children's God death as well the anihilation of faith and a froozing of trust in God as Father: (I Mac 4, 58).

Later, still in 2003, the first mission of the community: the beggining of recording the CD, that litlle by little was taking shape, with many songs of brothers that believe in Canal da Graça… And the confirmation of the work: “In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world”. (Jhn 16:33)

The CD “CORAGEM!” is the begining os the great work that God will enrich with His blesses.
